About Me

I set up the Arts Lab in 2021  to support arts practitioners of all kinds. Due to continued need and demand I place much of my commitment and emphasis on individual mentoring & coaching, notably mid-career writers, artists and curators. In the Summer, I run a longer, conversational and project-related Summer workshop.

As an international arts practitioner and writer, I bring the knowledge, flexibility and experience acquired from many years developing projects and books in many contexts to my workshops and project-led mentoring. I also bring over 25 years of experience teaching writing and art practices in universities and art colleges across the world, where I have been responsible for projects, research supervision and writing and interdisciplinary courses.

Of Norwegian and French heritage, and a queer citizen, a fundamental aspect of my practice and work is a commitment to valuing and recognising the impact of transnational and translocal experience and displacement on one's life and work, as well as enhancing the richness of plural modes of identity, cultures and languages.

I can't wait to discover your work and your world and together to find ways to support your transitions, dilemmas, ambitions and renewed confidence and pleasure! Have a look! Make contact!

Until soon,

xCaroline
